Djed osumnjičenog mladića koji se sumnjiči da je u noći s četvrtka na petak vatrenim oružjem usmrtio osam osoba i ranio 14, uhićen je danas nakon što je policija u njegovoj kući pronašla bombe, automatsku pušku i streljivo.
Osumnjičeni Uroš B. (21) skrivao se kod djeda u okolici Kragujevca, kod kojega ga je policija i pronašla, a uhićenje osumnjičenog ubojice uslijedilo je nakon opsežne potjere u kojoj je sudjelovalo više od 600 policajaca.
Srpski mediji u petak rano ujutro su javili da su specijalne policijske snage stigle u sela kod Mladenovca, gdje se dogodila posljednja pucnjava.
U potrazi za napadačem policija je uspostavila kontrolne točke i zaustavljala i kontrolirala automobile, a u potrazi su korišteni i helikopter, dronovi te više policijskih patrola.
Prema izvješćima lokalnih medija osumnjičenik, za kojeg je Ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova priopćilo da je rođen 2002., počeo je pucati na ljude iz automatskog oružja nakon što se u četvrtak navečer posvađao s policajcem u parku u Duboni.
Milan Prokić, mještanin Dubone, rekao je za Radio Beograd 1 da je čuo pucnjeve u blizini svoje kuće: “Žalosno, žalosno, zatvorili smo se u kuću da ne čujemo pucnje”.
Prema pisanju medija, muškarac je pucao na ljude iz automobila, ubivši najmanje osam ljudi i ranivši najmanje 14. Među ubijenima je i mladi policajac koji nije bio na dužnosti i njegova sestra.
Svi ozlijeđeni koji su primljeni u bolnice rođeni su nakon 2000. godine, javila je srbijanska televizija RTS. Dvije osobe u dobi od 21 i 23 godine su operirane, ali su i dalje u kritičnom stanju.
Ministrica zdravstva Danica Grujičić i ravnatelj Sigurnosno-obavještajne agencije Aleksandar Vulin navodno su u petak u ranim jutarnjim satima otputovali na teren.
Samo dva dana ranije, u srijedu, trinaestogodišnji učenik K.K ubio je, u svojoj školi u Beogradu, iz vatrenog oružja osmero učenika i zaštitara, a ranio još sedmero i nastavnicu povijesti.
U prvim reakcijama srbijanska vlada donijela je odluke vezane uz stroža ograničenja posjedovanja oružja.
Svjetski mediji izvještavajući o događajima ističu kako su masovne pucnjave izuzetno rijetke u Srbiji, koja ima vrlo stroge zakone o oružju, ali je posjedovanje oružja u zemlji među najvišima u Europi.
Hina prenosi da je zapadni Balkan preplavljen ilegalnim oružjem nakon ratova i nemira 1990-ih. U 2019. godini procijenjeno je da u Srbiji ima 39,1 komad vatrenog oružja na 100 ljudi, što je treće mjesto u svijetu, iza SAD-a i Crne Gore.
