Klorogenična kiselina, kavena i elagična kiselina, rutin…, svi su u kadulji i svi imaju impresivne zdravstvene dobrobiti, kao što su snižavanje rizika od raka i poboljšanje kognitivnih sposobnosti.
Dvije šoljice kaduljinog čaja dnevno značajno podižu antioksidativnu obranu, pokazala je studija. Kadulja snižava ukupni i “loš” kolesterol, a podiže razine “dobrog”. Obiluje vitaminom K: u jednoj čajnoj kašikici je deset posto dnevnih potreba za ovim vitaminom važnim za zdravlje i gustoću kostiju.
