Ruski sud je u četvrtak kaznio Fondaciju Wikimedija, koja je vlasnik Wikipedije, sa dva miliona rubalja (24.510 dolara) jer nije izbrisala, kako je rečeno, “zabranjeni sadržaj” koji se odnosi na rusku vojsku, prenijela je agencija Interfax.
Navodi se da je ovo sedma kazna izrečena Wikimediji u 2023. godini zbog neuklanjanja zabranjenih informacija.
Kazne sada iznose ukupno 8,4 miliona rubalja.
Najnovija kazna određena je za neuklanjanje članka o vojnoj jedinici koji je sadržavao “povjerljive vojne informacije” o njenoj lokaciji, sastavu i opremi, uključujući informacije vezane za napredak onoga što Rusija naziva svojom specijalnom vojnom operacijom u Ukrajini.
Wikimedia nije odmah odgovorila na zahtjev za komentar. Ranije je rečeno da su informacije na koje su se ruske vlasti žalile dobro potkrijepljene i u skladu su sa standardima Wikipedije.
Wikipedia je jedan od rijetkih preživjelih nezavisnih izvora informacija na ruskom jeziku od kada je državni udar na online sadržaj intenziviran nakon što je Moskva prošle godine izvršila agresiju na Ukrajinu.
