Obalska straža je saopćila da je tokom misije od 18. do 24. aprila identifikovala više od 100 “brodova kineske pomorske milicije, klasu korveta Mornarice Narodne oslobodilačke vojske i dva broda kineske obalske straže” unutar ekskluzivne ekonomske zone Filipina.
Dodaje se da je jedan kineski brod “izveo opasne manevre” na udaljenosti od oko 150 stopa od filipinskog broda. Dva druga broda su pokazala “agresivne taktike”, što je predstavljalo “značajnu prijetnju sigurnosti filipinskog broda i njegove posade”, dodaje se.
